RYTES Warriors Reveals New Logo and Colors and Honors Basketball History with Tradition

HOUSTON, TX -- The RYTES Organization revealed a new logo to be used for all teams beginning with the 2011-12 basketball season.

"When we announced our hosted events in September, other associated decisions had not yet been made. We wanted to take some time to listen, carefully consider, and make choices that would best honor our traditions as a youth basketball program, reflect our core values and characteristics," said RYTES head coach Lamar Holt. "The idea was to always teach the game of basketball to any and every student athlete who wishes to learn the game and so many organizations have gotten away from that by focusing on their Elite teams..."

The new RYTES logo was developed by Warriors Elite Sports design team.

"The new RYTES logo was developed to symbolize the organization's future, as well as its short history, strong tradition of competition, academic leadership, and passionate parents," said Tony Williams. "Its contemporary academic lettering includes the letter"R". Memorable and distinctive, the new logo evolved from conversations of getting back to the tradition of teaching the game to all youths and is built on the organization's iconic name, RYTES: Reaching Youths Through Education and Sports"

The new logo also provides the flexibility of multiple versions which can be used horizontally, vertically and within new media.
