2nd Grade Warriors Captures First Place In "Ball Don't Lie" Showcase

Yep, that's real noise.

The 2nd Grade Warriors - Lawrence/ Kopp captured the first place trophy in the 2nd Annual Ball Don't Lie basketball tournament in Houston, Tx.

The opening round win was impressive against the Baytown Saints. Then a setback against the Houston Elite squad. Finally, the final game came down to the second half, where these 2nd graders showed why they practice so hard. Hustle, defense and that "warrior-like" tenacity, these upstart Warriors captured a one-point victory. Add that with an overall poinnt differential between the three teams with a final 2-1 record.

Not bad for a group of 2nd graders that played up (3rd grade). This Lawrence/Kopp team are gaining respect.
