The 2011 Coach Lamar Holt Next Level Boy's Hoop Camp

The 2011 Coach Lamar Holt Next Level Boys’ Hoop Camp welcomes you to next level basketball at Don Bebe’s House of Speed in Katy, Texas this June 13-16. The camp's mission is developing fundamental basketball skills. Hoopers learn ball handling, triple threat, post moves, rebounding, court spacing, passing, defensive keys, team offense and defense. Lamar Holt, currently the No.2  AAU coach in the nation (5th grade), executes daily schedules and activities.

The camp consists of lectures, basketball stations, games and other exciting opportunities. Campers interact with other athletes, community leaders, top AAU players, as well as college and high school coaches.

Lamar Holt conducts all instruction and demonstration. The camp teaches fundamental basketball skills, sportsmanship and team concepts. The Lamar Holt Next Level Hoop camp emphasizes the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, staying in school, and saying no to drugs and alcohol. These core values help translate and enhance a sense of self-confidence.

Basic drills are the same for all skill levels. Players with more ability are given higher-level drills and ball handling moves. The camp is great preparation for the next level of competition. To enhance this positive learning experience, the class is limited to 50 student athletes.

The Lamar Holt Next Level Hoop Camp mission is to help youth learn the productive mechanisms of team sports, teamwork, discipline, cooperation, setting goals, strong work ethics and establishing moral values. The Lamar Holt Hoop camp helps teach these concepts. Every year, athletes visit and share their examples and principles. The Lamar Holt Hoop Camp works closely with community leaders to create vehicles that form bonds with our youth.
