Warriors releases 2010-11 tournament schedule

Houston, Tx– The RYTES Basketball program and head coach Lamar Holt announced its 2010-11 schedule. The Warriors’ 17-tournament schedule includes 12 houston tournaments and matchups against AAU's nationaly ranked teams.

“I am excited about the opportunity the 2010-11 schedule will give our players,” Holt said. “We will be challenged by our tournament schedule.  We've known this since we went to nationals, there is not a week where you have a weekend off.”

Warriors opens its season in Houston on Dec. 18 in the Ron Searles Tournament. The Warriors play host in The Best In The Winter Slam (Jan .22-23), 2nd Annual Spring Bling (March 18-19), and the Summer Superfest (Jun. 24-26) this season.

Trips to Atlanta (March 25), New Orleans (May 27) and Little Rock, Ar (June 3) highlight the Warriors travel schedule.

“Our goal is to build on the momentum of last year’s success,” Holt added. “I really like our teams.  Our parents did a tremendous job supporting us last season, and we look for more excitement in 2011.  This schedule will provide an opportunity for our parents and fans to experience some great AAU basketball in Houston.”
